Marzipan / Almond Paste

Marzipan is a confection consisting primarily of sugar and almond meal. We here at Katerina's add to the mixture rosewater and mastic resin, giving it a unique gestural flavor.


Marzipan is widely used in gastronomy, as it can be made into sweets or it can be rolled into thin sheets and glazed for icing cakes, such as wedding cakes and Christmas cakes.
